that is an indian paper as you know. The interesting thing about it is that the "growing backlash" is likely to come from conservative politicians more than anybody else. Workers have been furious regarding this practice for years, and it hasn't mattered one iota. But now that the US economy looks to be mired in some kind of stagflation and Bush's economic poll numbers are in the 30s, these guys are feeling pressure to curtail offshoring.

Just last night Lou Dobbs had members of the "pro american jobs" committee or some other BS group which is really a group of pro-offshorers. Dobbs openly said that they weren't doing much to ensure their man Bush would be re-elected.

BTW this is interesting:
