Dukakis was close. But this says something since you agree with me on Carter. All the brilliance and integrity does not make a great leader if he cannot get his program across. I'd love to see a leader who has these attributes, or at least brilliant and moral implementers, who is able to promote real change.

Although I never voted for him, I was aghast that Ronald Regan actually was one of the best leaders of our time. I don't want to get into a debate about him but he had the right combination mixed with confusion and human failings to do an incredible job in hindsight. I laughed when I heard he was running for President. Arnold has all that potential and, so far, I like just about everything he has done and his approach of inclusion.

So far I haven't seen it from Kerry, but here's hoping!!
