I've been playing with the Metropolitan statistic areas data in excel format. A lot of info in there.

I was going to try to figure out an extension of the earlier chart, then I noticed the earlier chart is inflation adjusted.

But without inflation adjustment, house prices in LA are almost 20 times what they were in 1975.
