I think ex-Nazis felt it too racially impure for their tastes. Political statements could be very dangerous. Worse than prediciting the market. Was it Argintina? I take your point about margin. But shouldn't they adjust these things according to probabilities and risk? I would agree with you but we are not the brokerage house that would be out millions if we cannot meet our losses. I suppose two weeks ago one might have said there wasn't much risk in writing OEX September 830 puts.... I am sure some did feeling there was no risk although I did not look that up. Glenn
