Re: In the same way Jewish people bother you?

What a racist thing to say. Can't you control yourself?

What Thomas, Zonder, myself and many others are trying to bring to the discussion is the notion that there is a profound disconnect between the wonderful Jewish heritage of intellectualism, professionalism, cultural uniqueness and high minded entertainments, wit, charm and "classy acts" and the despicable rendition of racism that is incorporated in the purveyors of "greater Israel", Zionism and a version of class warfare in Israel that is unfortunately ascendant.

None of us object to Jewishness. In fact, I've often sought out Jewish friends in the past because they're just so damn much more informed and interesting than goys.

But what is antithetical to decent society is the mutant sort of creep like Ariel Sharon and all the repression, racism and evil that he represents.

None of us hate Jewishness. We resent that Judaism has been hijacked by a vicious band of right wing thugs whose belief system is aberrant and totally opposed to the cultural traditions of Judaism.

Just as we resent George Bush as the closest thing to a fascist we've ever had as a President, and his goofy fundamentalist religious claptrap as the greatest threat to rationality and democracy today.
