In 1980, the average price for a gallon of gas (regular unleaded) in the U.S. was $1.25, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration Today, what is it....1.59, 1.69 avg.? 24 years. can you imagine ANYTHING else being such a bargain is gasoline? And remember, Clinton increased TAXES on gas a LOT so, that makes the actual price of gas even cheaper.
