What are you doing on the threads I frequent anyway, thats what I want to know.
I missed that part of the TOU which states: "Those who disagree with Lizzie Tudor shall not post on threads frequented by Lizzie Tudor." Which section was that in, again?
In fact, apparently some RWE followed me on to the REAL ESTATE thread and posted to me there (I got word of it in a PM). What do you do, bookmark all the people you don't agree with and hound them to death? Seems like it
Since I posted on the Real Estate thread this evening, in response to a post by you, I will assume you are referring to this post:

I fail to see how that post is "hounding you to death".
You raised a topic on that thread, namely, this: "I have friends like that, they were in debt to begin with and then in 01 when jobs were scarce decided to take out huge loans to go to Harvard Business school. It never occurred to them that the work climate would be *worse* when they graduated than when they went in."
I guess that is relevant to a potential real estate crash in that if HBS grads can't get jobs, then a whole bunch of people presumably can't afford houses, which would exert downward pressure on real estate prices. Before going out to sell my house in response to that revelation, I decided to do a little digging (about three minutes worth, actually). It turned out that HBS posts its placement statistics online, which could be a very useful tool for SI members to gauge whether the market for top B-school grads is deteriorating. That, in turn, might indeed warn us, as you tried to, of impending doom in the real estate market.
So without calling you any names or saying anything partisan or negative, I summarized what the HBS site said about its grads this past year versus four years ago. It turned out that in both cases 100 percent of them found jobs, and the median total compensation those grads received coming out of B-school was roughly comparable between 1999 and 2003, in the low six figure range counting sign on bonus. I cited no "right wing" sources; in fact, the ONLY source I cited was Harvard Business School itself. I called you no names, and in fact invited you to share with the thread any contrary information you had. And since you have me on ignore, presumably you never even saw it, though other readers of the thread who might not share your sensitivities presumably did see it.
How is that hounding you to death? At a glance, you posted around 50 times today on about 8 or 9 different threads. I responded to maybe 3 of those posts that I can remember. If I'm a hound I'm not doing my job very well -- I'm at least 50 responses behind just for today.
And how is what I said even a "right wing extremist" viewpoint? How is it a violation of the TOU or anything else? It's just information from Harvard University's Business School, evenhandedly presented for the reader's consideration.
If you're offended, I really can't see why. |
