I especially love the part where you claim to have voted for Clinton, despite the fact that you disliked him more than Bush pere, only because you thought it would be to your own personal and financial benefit. But where you really expose your far right of center flank is when you use the shibboleth "liberal media”. There is no truth to the phrase if only because I say so. You see, I am a liberal and I recognize my own kind. The media is neither with us nor of us. You have fallen into the POV trap of traps. In fact, you mention point of view quite a lot, unfortunately, without apparent grasp of the mind altering experience that it can imply. One of my favorites quotes is "Point of View Gets You Fifty IQ Points" (Alan Kay) But it was not your POV to which he referred. I know this because of a similar bon mot of his: "A change of perception is worth 80 IQ points."

As an example, you may not be able to acknowledge this as truth. When I said earlier that I was a moderate I did intend it to be funny, but it was not just a joke. From your reference frame on the fringe, I am "fairly left of center ". From the point of view of most of the other thinking, educated souls on this planet, I am really to the right.

You now have the floor, at least until such time that Dave decides to sweep it from both directions.
