Institutional investment is a movable feast. One knows what it was but never what it actually is. This applies to any stock not just Xoma. Institutions were accumulating Xoma. We know one made a huge purchase a couple a months ago. What are the institutions doing now? Can't really say. The price action does not support claims of continued accumulation. That may be the name of the game. Xoma looks cheap. Looks like a better buy now than in the past but are institutions accumulating it?
