Much more complicated issues than your post are involved, not all are to be blamed on Bush or Clinton. The dollar helps our exports and the inefficiencies in many of our bloated industries. I agree with you about the deficits but don't have real hope that Kerry will do much differently. He already has suggested that more needs to be spent on the military and I agree with him. Will he weed out the inefficiencies? So far no party or politician has been able to attack the vested interests. Instead, they want to raise taxes by calling the upper middle class "super wealthy." Of course, they will bring their own vested interests and patronage suckers in with them and we will have more of the same.
