After spending the weekend reading stuff, my feeling this is a big cap and unprofitable stock correction. Gold companies which are profitable (like ALTA) seem to be strengthening as any company would. Many high growth small caps held up on Friday. (eg ACTC) Personally, I am buying more ALTA on Monday just because of the uncertainty, but it may very well not do much of anything. We shall see. After having owned it at $4.00, it seems like a reasonable investment at $2.00. Because of this I am buying more ALTA on Monday instead of some other small caps I've been watching. I also told my employer to convert the big cap mutual fund of my 401K into money market, and continue funding the small cap mutual.
