i'm not sure what you're talking about. saying rates are "backing up" after the largest 3-day gain in bonds in about two years, and with yields at 8-month lows, is nonsensical.

note, also, that bond gains these days are occurring precisely due to economic weakness, as the market does not expect any further Fed cuts.
