"Remember the spring of 2000?" The botched transistor episode? No Rambus this time around. But the push to move to DDR2 as fast as possible might be an adequate standin... If that is the case, and the news you brought up about Prescott being pulled (thanks for that) makes it seem like it, AMD's near term prospects have improved considerably. Not that they were too bad to begin with. The only question is can they capitalize on it, something they weren't in a position to do last time.
