Well, considering that we have had anywhere from 4-8% GDP for 3 quarters now and have been out of a recession for over 2 years and reaching all time highs in terms of corporate profitability, while at the same time we have a large net negative on private sector jobs during the period, no I wouldn't say it is an extreme viewpoint to say employment has been destroyed.

Part of Bush and republicans problems is their denial about the situation we are in. This is a bear market have you noticed? And there are no jobs, with the largest trade deficit ever. NOT GOOD.
