What has become of this thread!??!!!????!!!!!??????!!!!!!!????????

Do you people see what you're saying? All this technincal analysis talk, yet nobody here came up with a definite answer about whether we should be buying or selling. It looks to me like all you people who are broaching these TA indicators want to give predictions about VVUS' price movement, with protection if you're wrong that the "indicator said so," rather than you said so. I just glance at the VVUS chart without all these TA indicators and see that VVUS is in a short-term downtrend, and will probably move up in a few weeks on earnings anticipation. I think the hours and $$$ you've been spending on new TA methods is a major waste of time and money. You probably just use TA to do the plays you want to do anyway, and need to find some TA comfort because your hesitant to make decisions for yourself. After all, if I lost $25,000 and I had only myself to blame, I'd probably feel a lot worse than if I could blame some TA indicator and then just never use it again...an indicator is easy to discard (maybe not if you paid $2,500+ for it), but I'm stuck with myself.

The only TA I'll seriously consider is chart patterns. Patterns are easily recognizable by any neophyte who looks at a chart, and with VVUS has a history of occuring. People who spend thousands on TA software would be better off spending their money on a course in self-confidence.

Just my humble opinion.
