I agree with you on most of the above, except that I think :

UK will increase rates before it cuts.
US will have to raise interest rates latest by the end of this year or deal with inflation the hard way.
Europe is not heading into recession, although its recovery will be slower. I am not so sure that they will cut base rates again.
Australia will hike rates again this year, although perhaps not soon.

My general idea would be to look for points of weakness to enter currencies that are done easing, whose economies are doing better than the others. In this respect, I am interested in GBP, AUD, and ZAR. I have been in and out of these two currencies over the course of the past year, which worked out pretty well.
