Mosby's Rangers were quite a group, their big claim to fame was capturing a Union General in his bed.

They carried Colt 44's, my uncle still has it.

He also has letter from Abe Lincoln's son Patrick to my GGG uncle as they were playmates in SE Washington before Lincoln became President.

It is all very fascinating.
