Dear Grass, I subscribe to a daily e-mail newsletter, and the editor has been having problems with people subscribing, getting their e-mail newsletter, and then diseminating them out to friends for free. He has asked that everyone who subscribes to his service refrain from mentioning stocks he has in his letter for five days on public boards. He is on SI as well. This is an attempt to try to squeeze those out who are abusing the letter. SO, I will e-mail you privately the name of the stock so you know I am on the level. Then after tues, if anyone is interested, I will put it on the board. Of course, that is not an endorsement in anyway. You would have to know much more about the stock than just the name to decide if you want to buy it (unless you are a strict TA guy).
By the way, the newsletter is called Brookin$ Buy$ (tm). The Author is Henry Brookins. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone in the market. Not just traders, but investors as well. He not only has good tradable stocks, but a model portfolio to follow for more conservative investors. And the big thing for guys like Dave and Sam is, every stock, not just the model portfolio's, is selected from an extensive fundamental search. They are then placed in catagories that correspond to their technical review. I met Henry in person at TAOTN, and he is a very smart, very articulate, very classy guy. Many of his picks are right on the money. He called the recent downturn a week before it happened.
He has two types of newsletters, weekly and daily. The weekly is cheaper and more investor oriented. The daily is more expensive, but it is well worth it. You will make the subscription price back in no time. It is the only newsletter I take, and that I feel is worth it. I am not afilliated with Henry in anyway, other than being a subscriber. Do yourself a favor, Fundamentalist or Technician, investor or trader, check it out.
E-mail him at "abrookins@sprynet.com" and ask about the newsletter. He offers a free trial period, no strings attached, and will include pricing info. And it comes by e-mail, how much easier can that be.
