I agree outsourcing results in lower costs, but I don't think that is necessarily a good thing.

There is very little we make in the US that can't be made cheaper somewhere else. If eventually we get the point where we make nothing, what will happen?

GM and Ford have much higher labor expense than Japan ... but the fact that those autoworkers are making good money means they can afford to buy my products or services. If they lose their jobs, I have fewer customers.
