I think that it's going to be a stock pickers market, for some time to come. Thus my 401K stays parked in bonds most of the time and I stay away from funds and try to look at individual issues through various means (including charts, as well as understanding the importance and potential of particular ideas. This includes learning the science behind certain companies). I like Pfizer because they have a strong presence, IMO, in certain kinases (proteins associated with targeting certain diseases in a specific manner). Not to mention their existant cash cow portfolio.
