For whatever reason, the market is valuing Gemstar only about 13% higher than immediately prior to announcement of the Comcast deal. Also, prior to the announcements of the favorable Superguide appeals ruling, the Pioneer deal, the Echostar deal, and the earnings report containing management's estimate of the first operating profit in many years, the stock was trading higher then than now. Interesting, huh. --Mike Buckley
