I see a problem with equating those who target civilians such as Hamas and Al Queda and those who unintentionally hit civilians.

Whey are they breathing?

My feeling is that we have long allowed supposed allies to harbor terrorists and this has made the job so very difficult. In this specific case, it is clearly Pakistan which has harbored OBL. Under the guise of a forbidding landscape, Al Queda has been allowed to continue its own governmental structures and operations. Add to that, the revelations and coverup with nuclear proliferation and it really should make us shudder. If Pakistan was willing to sell nuclear secrets to North Korea and Iran, certainly it was willing to sell the same to Al Queda.

Saudi Arabia and our support for a regime that fosters terror there will also continue to come back and bite us. When I say "us," I also refer to our allies in Europe who have also had very profitable relationships with both these nations.
