It's sheer nonsense to suggest that people in the threshhold bracket targeted by Kerry are not currently paying a "fair share." I just told you, we disagree about this point. And I reminded you that there are people as hardworking, thoughtful, and patriotic who feel differently than you do. I responded to your post because rather than simply stating an opinion, you chose to use language that subtly put down those with a differing opinion. I find the rhetoric of the left to be disingenuous and dishonest Hmmm. That's an awful lot of people you're calling dishonest. I won't tell you I think your viewpoint is highhanded,selfish,and short-sighted but I'd bet a number of liberal posters here would. As I just told a friend in PM, it's going to be a long eight months. I'd rather see the more thoughtful SI posters on either side of the political spectrum (and I include you as one of them) not succumb to that kind of style. I may not get my wish. But neither am I going to get into the mud with those who do.
