There's some really funky cross referencing in the message database which prohibits that. Not to mention the fact that it's off-limits. <g> Whenever the system seems slow during non-market hours, there's a good chance that it's because messages are being deleted. Every message created after the target record has to be changed and update, plus other related tables. Message deletion will be made much more efficient when Bob completes the UI rewrite.
