Tom & Del,
Solar Integrated Technologies website is expanding to reflect their progress. Mentions 100 employees and
250 customers… this could be (I suspect is)inclusive of existing SoCalRoofing employees and customer base.
SIT has opened offices recently in Dusseldorf (Thyssen & Alwitra territory) and London. SIT was in Florida recently showing their PV in concert with electrolysis for H powered vehicles to Jeb Bush. SIT has chosen Stuart Energy as their H generation partner.

SIT's Richard Schoen (described as being with BESS 2 years ago and then going on to SIT) who is credited as being the
first to incorporate solar with roofing (ARCO PV on galvalume in the 70s)
has been presenting SIT’s BIPV proposition in So. California to architects/engineers/potential clients as well as to a private meeting of 160 Frito-Lay distribution plant managers
in Texas(Frito Lay using SIT roofing in Torrance & Sylmar,CA) and Schoen is scheduled to speak in New York on March 30.
Recall SatCon, Unisolar’s preferred inverter provider for large systems, getting inverter approval in California and shortly thereafter announcing application with NY.

Click on the SIT “defense” link to see their PV tent setup (101st airborne is mentioned along with Nicad – not NiMH) and pictures of their Downey, CA module assembly area can be seen on this and other pages as well.

Robert Hertzberg, former state assembly speaker (D-Van Nuys) is working with SIT and was interviewed on local station KCET where he discussed the lightweight, air-welded laminate PV roofing on the Frito-Lay plant. kcet.org

SIT’s recently enlarged website now has an investors packet offering and analyst links (that don’t open a new window yet)
…is SIT positioning itself for an IPO to expand operations?

SIT does work with PowerLight as well as Unisolar but our stuff seems to be getting most of the limelight on the SIT website. Ed Stevenson’s PV on membrane roofing patent dates back to 1989… it only took 14 years to get together with Stan <g>
How much demand will SIT generate… enough to turn our machine on 24/7? How tight will our margins be with one customer potentially accounting for over 50% of the current machine’s output?
