Anybody else here own a camera phone, or know anybody that owns a camera phone? If so what do you think about it?

I got the first issue of CARGO magazine, which is a guy magazine featuring "stuff". Gadget, gizmos, tech toys etc.

It had a feature on the latest cell phones. And a pictorial listing with features of each. Only a few camera phones and the largest is .3 megapixel.

Andre has a good point. Is this going to be a flash driver? Many people I talk to feel similar to Andre. They say they won't pay more than a few dollars for this feature in a phone. If they are going to lay down money, they are going to put it in a camera, not a phone.

What is the largest megapixel phone now on the market? Is this something that is really going catch on and drive the flash card market? Or are the cameras in these phones going to just stay around 1 megapixel max which is not going to drive flash card sales?

What do you all think? Not what you think other people will do, but what will you do? And what will your friends do? Will you all pay an extra couple of hundreds to have a camera and supporting flash card in your phone?

Let's take a poll here.

Steve
