Yes

I'm not a fan of tax cuts in the face of deficits.

If you check out our debt ratio to GDP, it was the lowest during President Jimmy Carter. If Carter remained in office, we never would have gotten Reagan's deficits and eventually the economy would have balanced itself out over time - a little pain is better than a structural deficit problem. I'd prefer a low debt ratio. Our country's debt scares me galore.
