P/C still up there

cboe.com

This has been bugging me a lot since yesterday. I have a grizzly thought here. Has it occurred to you that 1 1/2 days before the bombings, the P/C shot up to about 1? What are the probabilities that Al-Qaida was the cause for the P/C ratio to go that high?
And with the US markets having such a mild reaction to it, would you think that if they did purchase those puts, would they come back soon and do it again while sentiments are hot?
Not only that. I have noticed also that both the 9/11 and 3/11 attacks occurred when the markets were at critical junctures (heading down). Do they have a technical analyst working for them?
