Folks who are unemployed are finding that when they call the unemployment office, that their calls are being handled by overseas operators!

And there is not a single reason on earth why this is wrong. These overseas workers save the government a lot of money, thereby saving us all money. They are also a lot more effective than many current American workers. Awhile ago, when I called tech support centers, I'd have to wait ages for inferior support. Often I'd just give up and have my kids take care of the stuff instead. I wanted to do it, but I could not afford the time! Today, I call, instantly get an Indian who is very courteous, efficient, and who knows his stuff! And he costs relative pennies, which puts downward pressure on product costs. Now you go ahead and explain why all of this excellence is wrong.

And when they are unable to pay their debts, they get a call from the collection agency based in... India or Phillipines!

See above. It is no one's fault that they are in debt. They ought not be in debt in the first dang place, certainly not in any debt that is unmanageable. That they are being contacted by foreigners is not wrong. It is efficiency and is a great thing. Please explain why it is wrong! You can't do it. you just can't do it, Dipy.

Yeah, yeah, we are headed in the right direction.

Maybe you aren't headed in the right direction, but I sure am and that is really what matters most to me.

With the manufactured unemployment rate of 5.6%, everything is just fine and dandy.

As long as the demand for manufacturing is being met, then it just does not matter that some Americans are without jobs and some Indians and Chinese are employed. And if manufacturing demands are not being met, then what we have here is an opportunity. If Americans are too stupid to move quickly and take it, then let them starve. Explain why this is incorrect!

Those who don't have jobs or healthcare and have to choose between food and healthcare, are just imagining things, right?!

No one owes them a job, especially if one can get the same or better work done for less. Healthcare is not a right, it is just a product - like chickenlegs and fruit.
