Kerry had the LOGICAL position that our attack on Iraq should be supported by other countries, both in the region and in the global leadership. Bush had the ILLOGICAL position that we should offend our allies and go it alone. As a result, we are failing in Iraq.

Of course, both positions were wrong. We should have lifted the economic sanctions, maintained military sanctions, and maintained UN weapons inspections.

But, Kerry was more logical than Bush, and Kerry's plan would have resulted in less Al Qaeda attacks and more love between the people of Iraq and the U.S.
