And now to debunk this statement by longnshort:

"unemployment is lower now then the average under Clinton"

If longnshort is referring to the average unemployment rate under Clinton (5.2% average), that is lower than the currently reported 5.6%.

If longnshort is referring to the average number of unemployed people, the average under Clinton was 7 million unemployed. The current number of unemployed under Bush is 8.17 million.
