Your analysis is interesting and quite possibly right on. I moved my 401K to the money market a while back. I've missed this last leg up but I've slept a lot better at night. Our company only lets us change our investment mix once every 30 days. It's not flexible enough to turn on a dime. I personally think that the DOW will be lower at the end of August, than it is right now and that gold will be somewhat higher. Your small caps may hold value over the short term. Looking out my window right now at a full moon. Not believing in that stuff, I still wonder if it portends an "interesting" day tomorrow!
