In one word, the problem is "Larry". He has lost it and he runs the company. People are just jumping off the bus that they see heading for a cliff. The bid for PSFT is the biggest joke on the street. At first people thought that there must be some other reason why Larry chose to bid 26 for PSFT, but now that he has said that he will go to court and pay for the right to overpay, there is real fear in the investment world about Larry's state fo mind.
