| The Holocaust argument is by no means the same, on several counts. First, we have the physical evidence of the camps, including the liberated prisoners, the showers, and documents pertaining to the extermination program. Second, we have the testimony of survivors, liberators, and even some of the executioners. Third, we have ample documentation of the demented role Jews played in the Nazi ideology. Fourth, we have an age- old history of anti- Jewish persecution based upon demonization, and sometimes including massacres, showing the persistent irrationality of Jew hatred in the European imagination. Fifth, there is the demographic reality: how do you account for millions of Jews disappearing, especially from Poland and the Soviet Union, without even leaving behind corpses? |
