Most of your questions are irrelevant. We should have focused on the terrorists in Afghanistan and finished the job instead of going into Iraq where there was no Al Qaeda presence (in the regions that were under Saddam Hussein). But we went there in much larger numbers than in Afghanistan and now we are stuck.

Also now that the secular dictator Saddam is gone, the religious fundamentalists are running amuck in Iraq. All we did was to open up a new breeding site for the terrorists. And since our soldiers are camped there, they are getting killed and injured on a daily basis.
