Thank you very much. You have just proved that it is just a each-man-for-himself jungle now, and that is how you like America to be.

That is how it has been for quite some time now, Dip. And it cannot possibly get better than it is right now– so enjoy it while you can. It is not a matter of what I like. It is a matter of what is. Look around and imagine what will happen once the less intelligent amongst stop singing about God blessing America and figure out the truth. (grin)

I have no problem with that.

Well then you ought to stop whining as if someone owes Americans special treatment. No one does. American labor is just no better than that of the Chinese or Indians. Indeed, it is often much worse and more expensive. That is why jobs are leaving the country. Has nothing at all to do with Bush. There is just no compelling reason to keep jobs here any longer. There is no "America," no values to protect, no tradition to honor. We know there is no longer any such thing as "America". So, we may as well get the best deal for the money.

Unlike many Republican lawmakers who don't even have a passport (and their voters many of whom might not have seen beyond the next county) I can work anywhere in the world.

Not anywhere, pal. You can work only where your skills are in demand and you must work for the right price. If you can find that and are willing to properly adjust your price, then you’re in. Else, you starve.

No one owes you a living. You must form alliances with people who share your values. Clearly I do not. I am not your ally and sincerely do not care if you die. And really, you don’t care if I die. If I hear tomorrow that Dipy just died of a heart attack, I will not even think about it. I may say to my wife “you know, there was an arrogant heathen on SI who just died of a heart attack. Now he burns in hell. Too bad.” That is really about it, Dip, if that. But should you promise to make me money, share my values and defend our mutually held interests, then I will care. That is just the way it is. It is the way it has always been.

You leftists have destroyed the country, fella. It is already dead. It’s just a matter of time before the effects of what you have done ripple throughout the land.

I have already said that I will go where the jobs go.

Well this means very little unless you adjust your price. Do that and you are in. Refuse and you lose. Simple as that.

And if you are really concerned about spending, you must choose the lesser of the two evils and that would be Kerry.

I happen to know Kerry is a bigger liar than Bush. His big spending record speaks for itself.

Or did you completely miss that it is Bush that is taking us into the era of trillion-dollar annual deficits?

If you collapse because of it, then you collapse. It means very little to me. Indeed, it means nothing at all.
