Oil spills are terrible catstrophes. When where was a spill off Santa Barbara in the 60's, Californians said NO MAS to oil drilling offshore. One accident makes it all a collosal mistake. The GOP drilling lobbyists are creeps. Bush-cheney fights to defeat fuel efficiency standards and discourage conservation yet want to ruin some of our most pristine natural wonders. Why? Doesn't make any sense except for dirty money.
