I think you misunderstood my question. I was asking if you would value an individual Being (alien or otherwise) who IS sentient (not merely biologically belonging to a species where some members are sentient and some members are not), over a zygote--which is never sentient.

For instance, as you have generally spoken to an equal value toward all (innocent) beings, from any sentient and sapient species...would you value an alien zygote equally to your neighbors little child whom is using her sentience and sapience to sell chocolate bars for charity? How about a human zygote? Equal to a thinking child?

The reason I included the zygote as the essential part of my question was that a zygote IS a member of a sentient species, but it is NOT sentient. Whereas a sentient alien child IS sentient.
