I'm looking for a simple explanation (a link would be great if you know offhand of any, AS) to provide my 83-year-old mother about precisely how her current situation will change if Bush is reelected and this BS indeed takes effect in '06.

Putting such explanation in terms of "example" would work best with her.

Such as: all of her prescription drugs are now covered by a supplemental-to-Medicare insurance policy for which she's paying about $1200 annual.

In '06, she will be forced to "drop" this private insurance coverage.

Correct? The new bill "outlaws" private supplemental Medicare insurance coverage.

Then, she will face paying $7500 annual.

Out of pocket.

Correct?

ALL SENIORS need to see this in personal example format, in my opinion.

This alone will drive them to the polls EN MASSE to oust Bush.
