Let me get this straight. You think my post implied that US Steel is BOOMING?

You're too much.

My POINT was that the circumstances for US steel are as good as they get under globalization. Most industries have not reached the inflection point with China such that ALL demand is locked up. China is a bottomless pit of cheap supply for most. But in this very unique case of Steel, there is no supply.

Can US companies benefit now? I doubt it very seriously. US Steel is in the tank as an industry and will probably fall off and die in a few years.
