fiat currencies dont just depend on interest rates
where did you get that?

they also depend on the economy behind them
--- see Japan & China (no rate at all)

and natural resources behind them
--- see Australia, Canada, Mexico

and confidence in govt leaders
--- see almost nobody in western world

Australia is full of minerals, thus a higher currency
South Africa has no interest rate to speak of
yet its currency exploded north (read: GOLD)
