You bring up some very good points. In fact, the very issues that represent the other side of the coin, that is, the only possible downside to this investment that I can see. Given the apparent problems with line 1, I don't understand the reason behind the decision to switch over to laptop cells. Presumably the problems are not related to the configuration, in which case they apparently did the switch in order to prove out the configuration-related aspects of the system, even with the problems still not being resolved.
But if line 1 turns out to be a long term problem, we had better hope that they were referring to the third NEW line and not the third production line (second Italian line) when C.R. talked about the one going to Hanil. I think we need at least two lines in operation by 1st qtr '98, both for redundancy, and for volume as well.
I'm beginning to get an appreciation for the process demands of this technology by now, and I hope C.R. was talking with genuine conviction when he said they have their arms around the problems, and 1st qtr '98 is still a firm date and they see no reason to slide it out. I bought some more a week ago, and may add some again, but I don't want to see it at $5 anymore.
