Hi zx:

I have a pent 450mh, 256mg ram, win98 SE. Originally I was using colorgraphics Evolution 4 with 4mg ram per port for my 4 monitors. Everything worked fine.

I removed the 4 monitors and put them on a new computer with 2
geforce FX 5200 pci cards. Fine so far.

I bought 2 Samsung SyncMaster 192N monitors for the older computer and they worked ok, still using the colorgraphic card but only connecting 2 monitors.

Interactivebrokers uses a java 1.4 program to trade stocks and this program just drags and becomes extremely sluggish.
So I replaced the colorgraphic card with another FX5200 dual card that has 128 mg memory.

Now my 2 monitors are black with a message "Video mode not supported". Samsung site says that message means the card is putting out a signal that the new monitors can't handle.

I tried dropping it dow to 800x600 and also lowering refresh for 75 to 60 but didn't work.

Before I call nvdia Monday I just wondered if you guys got any ideas.

TIA,

Dominick
