America does not meddle anywhere, this our Bush Jr. had no idea who Mush was as a candidate in year 2000, it was others who forced America out of this self imposed exile from global affairs, everyone exports to America and Americans are the largest consumers that helps power poor economies like China, in return of all this Chinese from no reserves in 1970 sit on 400 billion dollars of reserves, the standard of living is improving; a positive sum game for everyone, as poverty reduces education creeps in; societies who have MacDonald’s franchisees have rarely gone to war with each other, not that franchise does anything it is change of thinking, it is engagement change,
Chinese today are adopting new values are living better, are more responsible, they are quietly adopting a new global way of life, that is fast but free from great leap forward and cultural revolutions where 30 million vanished without single voice being raised, it is these kind of draconian societies which are today losing ground, USA economic meddling and power meddling is sometime forced on USA, it is also good for the world for USA to stay engaged, as largest business country your business is business and as such when someone wants to close the doors of the world to innovation and take the world into past than meddling becomes that much more necessary.
Our region is one good example it was on the verge of nuclear war just 18 months back, engaged dialogue through your good offices made this stitching of flags possible, imagine you calling it meddling but do you appreciate what does it means to 1.5 billion people of our region.
