Janice, OTOTOT -- Re tax extensions - I'm sure you are aware that the 2nd extension is not automatically granted - however, if your accountants explained the situation (you're in Italy, UPS is on strike, all other delivery services have suspended timeliness guarantees), I would think the IRS would grant the extension. But since this is an item that is at the whim of whoever is reviewing the extension, who can say. Sounds like your accountants were cutting things a little close though, if they sent you the return to you not much more than a week ago. DK
