<<<How do you know a terrorist before the bombing? Having a beard, black eyes and reading the Koran?
Do you have a beard and black eyes? Better you don't read the Koran. >>>

Concentration camp now has the implications of death.

Prison is a more accurate term.

IMO stopping terrorists completely is impossible, if one reads the paper. 7 bodies stacked in house in CA yesterday,
freeway shootings,etc

Governments take action to prevent the major attacks.
And that will take a long time, when considering that most of Africa and South America are possible bases for terrorist hidaways.

This war is a learning process, and better ways will be developed when nations under attack (more each day, it seems) apply their best people and ideas to prevent attacks and identify terrorists.

And that means better intelligence, cooperation, and fast response teams.

It would be preferable if the UN or equivalent could set some rules for response teams.
3500 deaths and $100 bil in property damage- worth at least one war
200 deaths and 1500 injured, with more promised. Does that justify a war approved by the UN.?

Since we cannot prevent all attacks, those who hate governments will miss no opportunity to lay the blame on
politicians.

I am not very hopeful here, in the long run. I believe
that inplantable microchips and or holographic ID cards
will be needed to permit free travel.

Facial recognition, iris scanning, and fingerprint or handprint could be used, with far less delays for travelers.

I see no sure way out except for Big Brother to get into the act.
Does the West want to keep Chicago, Paris, London,Madrid and the ability to use safe air travel.?

Are we willing to give up certain individual privacy rights to do that?

You decide- at the voting booths. If your boss is a dictator its much easier, you dont have to decide.
