If you don't reply to any of my PM's, I won't know you're seeing them. I'm afraid you're only seeing the posts as you check the next posts on this thread, which is the way it works at the NYT forums, I think. I'll email this, too.
SI has a much better format, clearer, more easily navigable, I believe, than the interface at the NYT. Though maybe that's because I"m not used to it over there. But I know what you mean about leaving friends, or even just familiar characters. Lotsa characters here. Hey, it's a neighborhood.
As for anyone "messing with" your sister... Please stay here! But I should say, to be fair, that I"ve been here since 1996, and in all that time only two people have behaved in a way I'd call "messing with," as opposed to arguing and verbally fighting. (Not that there hasn't been plenty of very aggressive, unpleasant argument, including by me.) (What I mean is, in only two cases was there a psychotic, twisted, fixated or sadistic drive in anyone's extended interactions with me.) When you consider that I've posted over 14,000 posts during that time, that's not a bad "messing with" average. It gets heated here, but not too heated for you, R. |
