Bush is a carbon copy of his father now, saying the exact same things. ABC is running a comparison now of their speeches. exact same message and attacks used. LOL. But in the end it was Bush Sr. who was out of touch, not trusted with the economy and too much in bed with Big Oil and corporate special interests. Both won wars but neither war mattered by election time. Both had Vice Presidents few people would want as President. Both had wimpy sides and tough sides. Both were hiding scandals. Both had lied ("I was out of the loop"). Bush Sr. was blamed for raising taxes, but that actually helped fix the economy for Clinton. Bush Jr. refuses to fight the deficits and it is keeping the economy underwater. Bush Jr. is more rightwing than his father, squarely in bed with the religious right. Will that hurt him or help him?
