now that things are "warming up"

Youngest daughter, who having recently finished her bachelor's at Long Beach is still living in southern CA, is currently visiting your fair town. When she called this morning, I asked, "How's the weather"? She launched into a diatribe about how she had never been so cold, as last night when she went out with her friends. I told her to be grateful it's spring.
