Didn't you read this post?

Message 19913371

In it, my first one on the subject, I remarked about Reuters liberal use of the word when quoting others. I also noted that I found ordinary usages of the word, written by the journalist. What I provided in my most recent post were examples of the ordinary usage, not quotes.

It is only in a piece of theirs when it is a quote from someone.

So the word, terrorist, in each of my offerings was written in disappearing quote pixels?

You didn't dig enough.

Just where would you have me look for those missing quotes? Are you saying that the Reuters policy is such that the word is OK as long as that's the word the subject of the article would have used had he been quoted rather than just reported on?
